These three brownstone houses were built in 1940 and has three stories with three units. They located in the Clinton Hill neighborhood in Brooklyn, USA. These buildings were considered as the classical brownstone building. Surrounded by public park and many local restaurants.

FAMILY OF FOUR

The client (Father/Mother/Daughter/Grandma) moved from Texas to New York because of financial issue to raise their 8-year-old girl since the mother suffer in “multiple sclerosis disease”. They chose this neighborhood based on its surrounding services. The mother has to use a wheelchair for living everyday. Therefore, the mother and father had decided to run their graphic design studio at home for saving more money and convenience reasons.

In their apartment, they requested a space for displaying their family heirloom which passed by older generations. Meanwhile, as a retired graphic designer, the grandma has a collection of works would like to be displayed in the house. In addition, for more convenience and cares for the mother, the family required to connect the work space and home space together.
